Chief Executive Officer
Bedah Salasini
Bedah Salasini has over 24 years professional experience with 16 years’ experience at Senior Executive Level in the Banking & Financial Services Industry. Prior to joining EFC Zambia in 2018, he worked with Barclays Bank Zambia Plc from 2007 to 2012 as Chief Operating Officer. After 5 years with Barclays Bank Zambia, Bedah went on International Assignment to work at the National Bank of Commerce Tanzania (A member of the Barclays Africa Group) on a Special Project Assignment in Dar Es Salaam, before being appointed to the role of Director Transformation for Barclays Africa (Retail and Business Banking) in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Upon his return home to Zambia in 2015, Bedah joined Zambia National Building Society where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Managing Director for two and a half years before joining EFC Zambia. In his early career, Bedah also worked for Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines, Zambia National Commercial Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
Bedah has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree obtained from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business in South Africa. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Degree with Honours in Electronics and Electrical from the University of Manchester in England. Bedah is a Member of the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services (ZIBFS), Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) and the Institute of Directors (IoD).
Chief Financial Officer
Kampaka Banda
Kampaka Banda has over 14 years’ experience in the Banking & Financial sector where he has held various senior positions. He previously worked for Prudential Life Assurance Ltd as the Head of Finance and Investment before joining Barclays Life as the Head of Finance and Compliance. He later joined Sanlam Zambia as Chief Operations Officer and his most recent role before joining EFC Zambia was Group Chief Financial Officer at Innovate Group.
Kampaka is a Chartered Accountant – CIMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with a Bachelor of Business in Applied Accounting (BBAA Hons). He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA) and a fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (FZICA).
Chief Operating Officer
Charles Kalela
Charles is serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Entrepreneurs Financial Centre, he plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, overseeing operational efficiency and establishing business development for the institution. With his extensive background in both financial and risk management, he is instrumental in shaping the institution’s resilience and success in an increasingly dynamic financial landscape.
Charles holds a Bachelor of Accountancy & Finance from the Copperbelt University. Certified expert in Risk Management (CERM) with Frankfurt School of Business Management and a Certified Chief Risk Officer (CCRO) with the Swiss Institute of Management and innovation.
Chief Risk Officer
Kelvin Mayonga
Kelvin is a credit professional with over 12 years of experience within the financial services industry with demonstrated expertise in MSME Credit Risk Management and Credit Operations. He is interested in the digitalization of processes to leverage operational efficiency in increasing the outreach and creating the impact in families, communities, and Zambia at lower costs.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Copperbelt University, Zambia.
Head of Legal & Company Secretary
Martha Msoni
Martha Msoni is an Advocate of the High Court and Supreme Court of Zambia with over ten years of experience in governance, compliance, legal affairs, and company secretarial practice.
She joined EFC Zambia in 2010 as a Legal Officer and now serves as Head of Legal and Company Secretary, overseeing the institution’s legal and governance functions. Martha provides strategic legal counsel to Management and the Board, ensuring strong corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
With a strong background in the microfinance sector, Martha has a proven track record in credit risk analysis, corporate advisory, legal drafting, litigation management, and board effectiveness. She previously worked with the Legal Resources Foundation and Johnson Mwenda & Advocates.
A member of the Law Association of Zambia and the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services, she holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Zambian Open University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management. She is passionate about advancing governance excellence and supporting institutional growth through sound legal leadership.
Chief Credit Officer
Mary Manda Musonda
Mary Manda Musonda is a seasoned microfinance and banking professional with over 20 years of experience spanning credit management, branch operations, and client relationship management.
Before joining EFC Zambia in 2015, Mary held key roles at PRIDE Zambia, Barclays Bank Zambia, and Standard Chartered Bank Zambia. She began her career at PRIDE Zambia, where she rose through the ranks from Credit Officer to Operations Manager. At Barclays Bank Zambia, she served in several strategic roles including Head of Operations for the Barclays Microfinance Project, Manager – SME, Agency and Legal Recoveries, and Collections & Recoveries Strategy Manager. She later joined Standard Chartered Bank Zambia as Collections Manager for the Unsecured Credit portfolio.
Mary has also served as a Chief Operating Officer at EFC Zambia for over nine years, during which she played a pivotal role in strengthening operations, portfolio quality, and institutional growth.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) and a Bachelor of Science in Production Management from the Copperbelt University.
Head of HR & Administration
Kalenga Mwape
Kalenga Mwape has over 14 years’ experience in the financial services sector where she has held various senior positions. She previously worked for Sanlam Life Insurance Ltd as the Manager – Human Resource Operations. Her most recent role before joining EFC Zambia was Deputy Director – People Experience at ZSIC General Insurance. Her focus is on enhancing performance management systems and prioritizing employee welfare to create a positive work environment that drives organizational success and fosters well-being among employees.
Kalenga is a Human Resource Practitioner with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration. She is also a full member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (FZIHRM).
Head Internal Audit
Christabel Kachuka
Christabel Kachuka is a seasoned audit professional with over 14 years of experience in internal controls, risk management, and compliance within the microfinance industry. She began her career at AB Bank Zambia Ltd as a Micro Loan Officer before transitioning to the Internal Audit Department, where she advanced from Junior Internal Auditor to Head of Internal Audit.
Holding an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Zambia (UNZA) and being a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Christabel combines technical expertise with strategic insight and ethical leadership. Her career reflects a strong commitment to strengthening internal controls, enhancing risk management frameworks, and promoting a culture of compliance and operational excellence.
Head of Information Technology
Esau Mbewe
Esau Mbewe brings an abundance of wealth and experience in Banking, Technology and Project Management. He has a little under 30 years’ experience in the Banking & Financial sector.
He has previously worked for Standard Chartered Bank Zambia PLC where his last role was Senior Technical Analyst in the IT Dept. He later joined Barclays Bank Zambia PLC as Electronic Banking Manager in Operations, before moving to Retail Banking as Digital Channels Specialist and finally as Project Manager in the Operations Dept. He later moved to Multichoice Zambia Limited as a Consultant Project Manager and his most recent engagement, before joining EFC Zambia, was in Project and Management Consultancy at Spry Consult (Z) Ltd.
Esau is a holder of a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Computing obtained from Greenwich University, Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner and currently undertaking two master’s degree programs – MSc. Project Management and MEng. ICT Policy and Management. He is also a member of the Information & Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ) as well as the British Computer Society (BCS).
Head Digital Channels, Product Development & Customer Experience
Angela Lihusha
Angela Lihusha has over 12 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on digital finance, project management and operations. She currently serves as Head – Digital Channels, Product Development, and Customer Experience at EFC Zambia, where she leads the development and execution of digital strategies that enhance customer access, streamline service delivery, and support institutional growth.
Angela joined EFC Zambia in 2013 as a Management Trainee and has since held several key positions, steadily rising through the ranks to her current leadership role.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounts and Finance), an MBA, and a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance. A Certified Expert in Digital Finance, Angela has successfully led transformative initiatives, including the launch of USSD services and the migration to a new core banking system.

Vivian Kaputo
Vivian Kaputo is a seasoned management professional with over 20 years of experience in financial services, operations, and administration. She currently serves as Facilities and Administration Manager at EFC, where she oversees procurement, logistics, facilities, and operational efficiency across the organisation.
Prior to her current role, Vivian held senior positions at EFC, including Head of Branch Operations and Credit Administration Manager, where she contributed to process improvement and service excellence.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from DMI St. Eugene University and a Certificate in Digital Money from The Fletcher School and Digital Frontiers Institute. Vivian is passionate about operational excellence, staff development, and fostering efficient systems that drive organisational growth.

Tasha Mary Kakole
Tasha Kakole is a devoted Finance Professional with over 15 years work experience in the Private, Non- Governmental Organization and the Financial Services Sector. She is an advocate for leading by coaching and mentoring and an approved ZICA CA Zambia Mentor. She is a qualified Chartered Certified- Accountant (ACCA), Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) and a holder of Master of Business Administration Finance (MBAFIN) obtained from the University of Lusaka (UNILUS). She also holds a Certificate in Risk Management obtained from Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development.
She is a Member of the Institute of Directors (IoDz) and an Industry member of the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services (ZIBFS). Currently employed as Finance Manager at Pulse Financial Services Limited T/A EFC a deposit taking Micro Finance Institution.
Her expertise includes Corporate Strategic Planning, Financial Management and Control, Financial Reporting, Auditing, Balance Sheet Management and Treasury Management, Budget Formulation Process and Cashflow Forecasting.
Credit Risk Manager
Emma Hatwiko
Emma Hatwiko is a seasoned credit risk professional with over a decade of experience in credit analysis, portfolio management, and risk strategy development within the financial services sector. She currently serves as Credit Risk Manager where she oversees credit policy implementation, portfolio quality, and risk governance across all branches. She is passionate about sound credit governance, sustainable finance, and building resilient credit portfolios that support inclusive economic growth.
Her career at EFC spans progressive roles from Management Trainee to Credit Risk Manager, earning recognition for exceptional performance, leadership, and ethical conduct. Notably, she has been instrumental in strengthening credit underwriting standards, reducing portfolio at risk, and driving the successful rollout of the institution’s new core banking system.
Emma holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Cavendish University Zambia (2016) and a Bachelor of Public Administration from the University of Zambia (2012). She has also attained multiple international certifications from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, the University of Cape Town, and the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services.

Chilufya Siansangu
Chilufya M. Siansangu is a seasoned banking and financial services professional with over 16 years of progressive experience spanning multiple leadership levels, including C-suite role.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management Studies, a Masters degree in Business Administration, and is an Associate Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
Special Assets Manager
Edward Mubanga
Edward Mubanga is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in credit management, recoveries, and asset administration. He currently serves as Special Assets Manager at EFC Zambia, overseeing the management and recovery of distressed assets to maintain portfolio quality and business sustainability.
Edward’s career began at the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), where he served as Senior Collector and later Principal Collector of Taxes under the Income Tax Department. He later joined Comlex Zambia Ltd as a Special Accountant before moving to EFC Zambia, where he has held various roles including Credit Officer, Senior Credit Officer, Credit Manager, Operations Manager, and Recoveries and Collections Manager.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) and brings over a decade of expertise in financial operations, credit risk, and asset recovery.
Legal Manager
Joseph Shawa
Joseph is a seasoned legal professional with over 19 years of experience in corporate, public sector, and law enforcement environments. He currently serves as the Legal Manager at Pulse Financial Services Ltd, trading as Entrepreneurs Financial Centre (EFC), where he oversees the institution’s legal affairs, litigation, regulatory compliance, and contract management.
Prior to joining EFC, Joseph served as a State Advocate at the Ministry of Justice and held various legal and administrative roles in the Zambia Police Service, rising to the rank of Superintendent. His career also includes experience as a Labour Officer at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and as a Learner Legal Practitioner at Fraser Associates.
He is an active member of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Task Force of Senior Officials, the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Human Trafficking, and the Law Association of Zambia.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Zambia, a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies with a Minor in Public Administration, and a Legal Practitioners’ Qualifying Examination Certificate from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE).

Christopher Mpolomoka
Christopher Mpolomoka is a seasoned agribusiness and sales professional with over two decades of progressive experience in sales leadership, agronomy, and business development. He currently serves as Head of Sales at Entrepreneurs Financial Centre (EFC), where he oversees branch operations, sales performance, and strategic business growth across the network.
Before joining EFC, Christopher held key leadership positions including Sales Manager at Rent-to-Own, Regional Sales Manager at BASF Zambia, Business Development Manager at Omnia Fertilizer, and Senior Agricultural Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. His career has been defined by consistent growth in sales performance, expansion of client portfolios, and successful market penetration initiatives.
At EFC, Christopher has played a pivotal role in driving portfolio growth, strengthening sales team productivity, and expanding branch operations. He is passionate about data-driven sales strategies, market analysis, and empowering teams to achieve sustainable business success.
Christopher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science, majoring in Crops with minors in Economics, Animal and Soil Sciences from the University of Zambia (2000). He also holds a Senior Certificate in Sugar Cane Agriculture from Mount Edgecombe in Durban, South Africa, and certifications in Sales (DQ Selling), Specialized Management, Leadership, and Training of Trainers from WRP-USA.

Riberia Lwanga is an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Management with nearly a decade of combined experience in the financial services sector, who also oversees Strategy Execution and Business Performance for EFC Zambia.
In her current role, Riberia serves as a strategic partner to the executive leadership, steering the execution of key business initiatives, monitoring business performance, and ensuring that strategic priorities translate into desired outcomes.
Riberia’s professional background prior to assuming her current role, spans across project management and human capital management, where she spent over five years optimizing people processes, leading change initiatives and enhancing organizational effectiveness. This unique blend of strategic, operational and people-centered expertise enables her to bridge leadership intent with execution realities, delivering impact that drives both performance and culture. She holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Zambia, alongside a Diploma in Human Capital Management.

Chikondi Phiri
Chikondi Phiri is the Product Head for Personal Lending at EFC, where she leads the development and management of innovative lending solutions designed to meet the diverse financial needs of salaried clients. She brings extensive experience in retail, Commercial and SME banking, product strategy, and customer relationship management.
With over a decade of progressive experience in banking and financial services, Chikondi is passionate about driving inclusive financial growth and delivering value-driven lending solutions. Before joining EFC, she held various leadership and relationship management roles in the financial services sector, including Branch Manager at Ecobank, Team Lead for Emerging Businesses at Access Bank Zambia, and Relationship Manager roles at both Access Bank Zambia and Madison Finance.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lusaka (2024) and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Zambia (2013).
Portfolio Quality Manager
Mathews Chipemba
Mathews Chipemba is a dedicated finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management, branch operations, and client relationship management. He currently serves as Portfolio Quality Manager at EFC, where he is responsible for monitoring and improving portfolio performance, ensuring credit quality, and supporting sustainable business growth.
Since joining EFC, Mathews has held several key positions, including Branch Manager and Senior Relationship Manager, where he demonstrated strong leadership, customer service, and risk management skills. His earlier experience includes working as a Relationship Manager at EFC, a Lead Generator at Barclays Bank, and a Field Officer (Intern) at the Ministry of Community Development, Mother and Child Health.
Mathews holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education from the University of Zambia. He is passionate about financial inclusion, team development, and fostering excellence in portfolio management and customer experience.

Daliso Daka
Daliso Daka is a seasoned finance professional and ACCA Chartered Accountant, as well as a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA), with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, reflecting his strong strategic and business acumen.
Daliso has extensive expertise in financial management, audit oversight, investment portfolio management, and risk control. He has successfully led and developed high-performing teams, driving operational efficiency and supporting strategic growth across organisations. His deep understanding of financial governance, compliance, and policy development continues to contribute to the sustainable growth and sound financial management of EFC.

Jimmy P. Chifita
Jimmy Chifita is an experienced business management professional with over 16 years in business development, banking operations, and financial services marketing. As Head of Business Development at EFC, he leads strategic growth initiatives, market expansion, and product development to advance inclusive finance.
Jimmy has held key leadership roles at Zambia National Building Society, Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC), Great North Credit Limited, and UMINO Microfinance. His expertise spans credit and risk management, strategic partnerships, and SME development. He is passionate about driving sustainable financial inclusion and empowering entrepreneurs through innovative financial solutions.
He holds an MBA from Mulungushi University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance from the Copperbelt University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Risk Management from the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services.
